Brainstorm

For our initial brainstorm, we had the idea of creating a multi purposeful app to help students navigate campus and surrounding towns. We wanted to create an Earth-themed color palette to emphasize the sustainability component of the app, while also cultivating the feeling of safety and friendliness. In our initial brainstorm, we didn’t consider specific safety aspects, but as time progressed, we agreed that the app is only for students that must verify their identity with PRN and email confirmation. As for cost, we wanted to keep it low and manageable for students.

Collaboration

For collaboration, our group used a text chat where we conferred and shared ideas outside of class, though most of the brochure was made during class. The majority of the brochure was codesigned, with Mya leading the physical work of it since the brochure was made on a site that was non-shareable.

Final Product

I am proud of the work we accomplished, and I think the layout of our brochure is aesthetically pleasing, with ideal testimonials and facts. It is free of any grammatical errors, includes a map for how the app will designate walking paths, has contact details, a QR code for accessibility, and is overall dynamic and readable.
